Policy Paper: Impact of COVID-19 on the HIV care continuum in Asia: Insights from people living with HIV, key populations, and HIV healthcare providers
A study of 702 People living with HIV, 551 representatives from key populations and 145 healthcare providers from the region conducted between October to November 2020 revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic has substantially disrupted HIV prevention to care continuum in Asia. Collaborative efforts are needed to optimize the infrastructure and adapt systems for continued HIV care with minimal disruptions during future health emergency crises.
