The Rainbow Queer Cultural Center of Health, based in Taipei, Taiwan, dishes on events organized in 2019, and services and facilities it has to offer.

REST AREA:
At the Rainbow Queer Cultural Center of Health in Taipei, the public is welcome to pop in to relax, chat, and read in the rest area. From time to time, Rainbow Queer organizes lectures on topics including health, entertainment, and latest news and scientific updates in this space.
CONSULTATION ROOM:
Anonymous HIV screenings, as well as medical and risk counselling for Rainbow Queer visitors happens in this Consultation Room.
SCREENING THE FORMOSA PRIDE:
Rainbow Queer staff is stationed at party booths at the Formosa Pride, ready to provide anonymous HIV screening services. The Formosa Pride is the biggest and most popular gay parade in Taiwan, featuring GOGO dancers from Asia, and world-renowned DJs.
CANDLELIGHT FOR AIDS:
At the annual International AIDS Candlelight Memorial in Taipei, Rainbow Queer invites the public to light a candle together to pray for people living with HIV/AIDS. Through this memorial event, Rainbow Queer hopes to foster solidarity in the community, and break down barriers of stigma and discrimination. We hope by doing so, we can give hope to future generations.
TAIPEI LOVE AMBASSADORS:
2019’s International AIDS Candlelight Memorial also features a Drag Queen Love Ambassador Race where Rainbow Queer had well-known drag queens become social media ambassadors to spread word on HIV screening and prevention. Here, contestants, judges and moderators take a pose.
TAIWAN LGBT PRIDE:
At the 2019 Pride Parade, fabulous DJs and drag queens stand on Rainbow Queer’s float. The public revolved around the Rainbow Queer float fervently, and marched the gay parade with us.

At Rainbow Queer Cultural Center of Health, we offer long-term care of HIV patients, providing services and support that are sustainable. The purpose of our service is to solve social and medical-care issues related to HIV, and to promote HIV prevention education and activities. thereby hoping to increase public concern for HIV and people living with HIV. ​Currently, we have two offices operating in Taipei and Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Both centers provide HIV consultation, volunteer trainings, and telephone consultation services.
